Anonymous: what are you studying if you dont mind me asking? ;; also do you think a med student can have time for art? i love it but am srsly scared my uni life will be impossible to art during... im so sad about this kel :(

kelpls:

I’M STUDYING medicine, so yeah I believe u can still have time for art! I THINK IT’S ALWAYS GONNA BE BUSY no matter what you’re studying and sure, you’ll have less time to draw but it’s not impossible. I draw a lot less nowadays bc of school but I try to keep time aside for it! RN what I do is I start on a drawing and I paint a bit of it whenever I’m free.. it takes a while to get anything done but AT LEAST I”M DRAWING SO THAT”S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME

Honestly i don’t think anyone should ever have to give up something they enjoy for current commitments. It’s a lot to handle sometimes so don’t feel bad if you have to go a week (or more) without drawing. Drawing less doesn’t make you any less of an artist. Make good use of whatever time you have to draw. Write your ideas down so that when you have time you’ll be able to start drawing right away! I keep a psd file with 5 min sketches of things i wanna draw, and I just pull them out to work on when I have the time to :) ALL THE BEST WITH UNIVERSITY ANON, don’t worry too much and enjoy your time in uni!
